Yes, the slight alteration to the well-known Wordsworth poem was very apt the other week. I took advantage of a free morning to charge off to Dunnerdale. Wordsworth wrote a series of sonnets praising the river Duddon, but I'm afraid it wasn't quite so lovely the day I visited. The fells were shrouded in mist and cloud, with visibility zero. It was one of those charge round, tick in the book walks but I will definitely be returning to admire the surrounds on a better day!
I think I've written already about the fact my figure has changed a little again, this week I'm looking forward to a visit by my photographer so I can update my gallery properly for you all. Over winter I took some time out from my usual fitness regime, but I am now back training regularly and already feeling the benefits.
