It's been sometime since I wrote in my blog, and I'm afraid I don't have a whole lot to report.
My January Sale went very well and a few new clients took advantage of the incentive to pay me a first visit. I'm afraid a few did get a little upset that they missed out, but it's not fair for me to extend it indefinitely. I do have an idea I may repeat this towards the end of February and I will keep everyone informed if I do.
I'm afraid I gave myself a little time off over Christmas from my training regime and I've gained a little weight. I'm rapidly earning the title of the 'Yo-Yo' dieter. I am very sensible losing weight, exercise and eat regular healthy meals but I can sometimes lose my motivation especially during dark winter months. I'd say I'm around a size 13 right now - somewhere between a 12 and 14. I measured my bodyfat yesterday and I'm still well within the healthy guidelines, my athletic pursuits mean that the scale isn't always the best measurement for me since muscle is much denser than fat. Out of all my photos I'd say the ones taken December 2009 are most representative regards my current shape. I'm neither a skinny-minny, nor a BBW! I'm just one of those people who don't conform. Talking of photos hopefully I shall have another photoshoot in the Spring, probably around April-May time. I've some lovely lingerie to show off, I just can't keep off the La Senza site and they had a great sale recently. When I was training a lot last year it did mean that the times I would be available, and overnights/dinner dates were quite restricted as I chased a certain target. Right now as I rebuild my efforts in that area I have a lot more flexibility with my bookings, and can now be available most times between 10am and 10pm each day, subject to plenty of notice. I'm still only accepting a limited number of appointments, so no need to worry on that score!
So I'm back in training as of today, and an hour in the gym completed. Hoping to get out cycling tomorrow if the rain holds off, otherwise it might just be a power walk or swim. It actually feels quite odd because towards the end of last year I was putting a lot of time in at the gym, but now I need to scale back for a short while to allow my body to get used to it again - and it feels really quite odd. But as they say if you do too much too soon, that doesn't leave much room for improvement!
I hope everyone continues to survive this crazy winter we appear to be having, fingers and toes in tact if not sanity.
